Exercise is an important part of your life, regardless of whether or not you have acne. Moderate exercise has many benefits including helping your body rid itself of toxins. When exercising, we really only have 2 things we think that you should keep in mind.

1. Don't over do it. There is no need to work your body beyond what feels right. Exercising too much or too vigorously can cause harm.

2. Wash your face immediately after you exercise. This is very important since a lot of oil and sebum can build up when you exercise.

Lastly, a stressful life can lead to more frequent breakouts. While some amount of stress is healthy, too much can cause problems not only with your skin, but also with your entire body. Remember to breath deeply, especially when you are stressed. This is your body's #1 way to eliminate waste and also can help you relax during stressful situations. One big problem with stress is that many people get stressed about their acne, which cause more acne, it is a kind of catch 22. Try to remember that acne will not last forever and you are not alone. Many people have acne, especially during their teens, and it will pass.

Diet

Whether or not what you eat affects your skin has been of scientific debate for years. There is evidence that points in both ways, some showing that certain foods can cause or at least aggravate your acne and some evidence showing that it does not matter what you eat. We believe that it is better to be safe than sorry. It turns out that many of the foods have shown some evidence of causing acne also may not be the healthiest, therefore, avoiding them most of the time is good for your health and possibly for your skin.
